Undying tracks I was able to get. Undying has called the day out and this is damn pity. He has got some really good and interesting black metal in stock If you mean the Kult Of Eihort-related Undying, there's talk afoot of that getting a release somewhere, hopefully this year. I'm just having another listen to it now, sounds better than I remember it. I've just got that Cities Last Broadcast album, waiting for the right moment to give it my full attention though. I've had the new Blut Aus Nord on a few times over the last week, and I'm really enjoying it. I don't think it's any less psychedelic for exploring more conventionally melodic patterns. At the moment I can't imagine how the content of the album could've been expressed through the dissonant character of the last few albums. It gets a thumps up from me, anyway.

Yes, i red that Hiraedd plans to release A Haunt Within the Mist properly. So far i heard only 3 tracks so i'd love to hear whole picture. As for Blut Aus Nord new album it's really lovely. Personally i found Odinist quite dull after MoRT but Dialogue with the Stars fixed things right. It has a lot more passion in it. Good job indeed. Today i devoted my ears for every album by Raison d'Etre i have.

Today for a dish i have some jazzy stuff. Right now i'm through Naked Lunch OST by Howard shore. Excellent work. Weird, crazy and unsettling at times. Dark in it's own way. Ornette Coleman plays his sax like psycho. This music really can get under the skin. Coming next Mark Anthony Turnage's some certain works. I was really impressed by recommended stuff in "Influenza" topic.

David Lynch - The Air is on Fire [2007] Minimalist dark ambient. Not only his movies dig deeply into subconsciousness but it seems that his other works like paintings and music are leaning towards psychologically darker and weird side as well. Master of many crafts.

Gas - Königsforst has been going warm all evening. Droning, minimalistic and hypnotizing ambient techno with forest themes. He describes his music as having no definite beginning and no definite end, just sort of being there, flowing along with time. That's the kind of concept I buy into immediately. I'll be falling asleep to this baby tonight, no doubt.

My ears are completely corrupted by Navicon Torture Technologies for past week. Almost nothing but NTT (and I'm pretty sure it will remain that way for a a lot longer period). It has so many releases that I grab and listen every random one i find on my searching. It is not quite a revelation but sort of tremendous rediscovery of this phenomenal industrial/noise project. Seriously, every TAOP fan have to hear IT. However on a very contrasting side is Drudkh. Adore everything by them. It is quite strange that Microcosmos slipped silently through community. Excellent album by the way.

I can't stop listening to Seven Chalices by Teitanblood. I would say that this album represents a peak of Blasphemy-influenced black metal, though it focuses more on ugly atmosphere, than on primitive brutality. Evil, and sometimes even pretty deliric.

The new Portal album is awesome, great use of dissonance and some really nice packaging to boot. Worth checking out.

Atrium Carceri Phrenitis. Just as year ago yesterday i was pleasantly surprised getting to know new AC album. And given to the fact that this is one those CMI acts i'm after for few years now so i was very eager to hear where the things will go this time. Subtle as ever this one seems a bit more ambitious and complicated than previous work. Simon's Heath trademark style remains but yet he does not repeat himself. Every time he offers a somewhat different trip to his weird slightly changing world.

I should get the new Atrium Carceri and the new Raison d'etre albums from CMI by the end of the week. I'm looking forward to them! Slagmaur- Von Rev Shelter is pretty mental. I got it as terrorizer said it was like Mort by BAN. It isn't but it's still very messed-up and therefore deserves a thumbs-up!

However, I afterwards listened to the new Raison d'etre album which blew me away! It's like he's refined the direction he took on 'Metamorphyses' and made it more direct and downright terrifying. Throw in the odd atmospheric track (like the Raison.. of ISS&S era) and I'm hooked. Getting a lot out of both of these albums right now.

I'm heavily impressed by new Raison d"Etre album as well. It is not that i wow Peter's every work but this last one gives some really serious kick to me.

Talking about Portal, check out debut album by Impetuous Ritual as well. Two members of Portal are playing here so it is a bit similar but more straightforward and demented. I would compare it to a first part of Larvae from Swarth. Lately I discovered french one-man project Drastus. Unnerving and rusty black metal with drony bits. Reminds me Blood libels by Antaeus but more industrial and bleak. And last one: Grunt - Peturien Rooli (or how the hell it is spelt) Absolutely great and sophisticated Power electronics.
