Playlist threads - always a must.
Today I've had little time for listening except from walking to and from uni, so there's just been:
Lamb "Between Darkness & Wonder" Lamb "Remixed" (highlights only) Mullholland Drive OST

AboryM- Generator Kammarheit- Asleep and well hidden Hexstatic- Rewind Wagon Christ- Do I make you lush? Megaptera- Curse of the Scarecrow Keep of Kalessin- The Black Uncharted (new track) Sigh- Gallows Gallery Venetian Snares- Rossz Csillag Allat Szuletett 4am twisted Chill out- Mixed by Ozymyso (Mixmag free CD from years ago- still the best 'dance/wierd and scary electronica album ever!)
That's what I've listened to the last 2 days.

Heh...the filter strikes again. How come the ''b'' word in censored but not twat, wanker and other luminaries?
As well as the excellent new Bal Sagoth album, I bought, on my trip to London t'other day the Xasthur/Leviathan split CD. It's most wrong- highly recommended!

Speaking of which, have you heard the Pre-Release Subliminal Genocide album yet? It is by far Malefic's best work to date. I, as a person who has tried to devour nearly every bit of Xasthur possible (and spent a I made you wafflesing fortune doing it ) feel obligated to say that this far surpasses even what would happen if you mixed all of the best elements from his albums together, and then added one-hundred times more creativity... I can't bloody wait to get my rustic hands on the offical version. Erm... back on topic; here's what i've been listening to recently: Drudkh - The Swan Road Bal-Sagoth - The Chthonic Chronicles Armin Van Buuren - A State of Trance (#'s 83-86) Excessum - Death Redemption Funeral Mist - Salvation Deathspell Omega - Kénôse and last, but not least: Lunar Aurora - A Haudiga Fluag (Their side of the split with Paysage D'Hiver)

Thanks for the tip Mr Searinglight. It goes without saying that I shall purchase this filth when it arrives.

I've purchased a few new Dark-ambient releases, all of which I'll post if they scare me enough.
At the moment, I'm enjoying:
Kammarheit- The Starwheel (good recommendation, whoever it was!) Northaunt- Horizons- A gamble on my part but one that paid off, it's scary dark-ambient and it's dead good. Void- Posthuman- it came out ages ago but I got it recently to see what it was like after hearing Kvost sing for <Code>, it's just like '666 International' by Dodheimsgard though more industrial, I like it very mooch!

front 242 - discography - very disapointing, pretty pap
Skinny puppy - discography - pretty much kicks ass!
Gridlock - discography - why did I only discover this band a year after they split up !?!?!?

My situation was vice versa way. I found <Code> when Kvohst joined it. Void remains more than 1,2 year one of my most favorite releases. Would be very interesting to know what Matt Jarman is preparing at the moment. That guy is simply genius. And I find strange that you see similarities with Doedheimsgard. Void is far more progressive and consistent at least in my ears. And more thoughtful I'd say ;D But oh well DHS is good too

I see what you mean, all the Void tracks are killer whereas a few of DHGs weren't up to much but DHG on top of their game can be bettered by few...hell, they both rock but Void is still very much a novelty that I'm unjoying loads.

For this very moment I am and will be threatened by some early Anathema's demos and debut album "Serenades" , Voivod's crazy "Phobos", TAOP's "Physical Illucinations..." (it just deserves to be vinyled will it ever?...). And why I feel so at home while listening to it ???There is something wrong with me

I'm sitting in relative darkness scaring myself shitless with 'Gruntsplatter- The Aberrant Laboratory'. Dark ambient. Set in an ancient laboratory gone a bit wrong. Recommended.

Electric wizard - discography - well good
we have often thought about vinyl versions, its financialy unviable at the present time.
