DHG- Supervillain Outcast is receiving a reet good airing at the moment. Kvohst's vocals are awesome! I've also been playing 'Heaving Salvation in the Paradise of Rust' more times than is healthy.
Going to devote some time to Northaunt now and Raison d'ĂȘtre's 'In Sickness, Silence and Solitude' will hopefully drop through the door tomorrow.

Leviathan from USA. "Verrater". Damn what an interesting black metal. Thoughtful and really well done. Un-corny song titles and even slightly humorous approach at some places. This band happens to be the most interesting one from the bunch of USBM. Well at least for me...

That's a good question. I don't think they do. Kind of one-off project I guess.

Most probably, but Necrowizard will maybe posses Putnam once more!

Ulver. Soundtrack for "Svidd Neger" movie. Really wow! Now is time for Visions "Lapse". Again. Cyclic Law never puts mediocre thing. This dark celestial ambient is highly recommended.

The Svidd Neger soundtrack is amazing, I agree! I can only just get away with playing it at work on quieter days too! The new album they say, will be darker, it's sounding promising!

Cult of Luna - Cult of Luna. My recent little revelation from Sweden. Even though the last effort I like the most all their albums are very enjoyable. Some sort of mix between Neurosis and GYBE. Solstafir - Masterpiece of Bitterness. Instrumentation is briliant but vocals are ridiculous. Anyway it does not detracts from listening to this nice album. Enslaved - Blodhemn. I always liked them even though some songs have irrelevant parts even though Mardraum was abominable. Still most of their works are beautiful.

Jesu. EPs and both albums. Briliant. Hypnotizing. What else to say? Sometimes mellow sometimes cold. Especially "Hydrahead" and "Heartache".

Finally someone else who didn't like Mardraum! Brilliant. The odd song was alright on it but it's my least favourite Enslaved album. Listening to Deathspell Omega's Newey at the mo. These guys have it sussed at the moment. No one's coming close regarding BM. What's the new BAN like?

How can one like Mardraum??? It's so badly composed and directionless in my opinion. Guys themselves said it was rushed, undeveloped and incomplete. As for BAN they continue in MoRT's vein but this new one sounds less abstract and a bit more black metal. Vocals are more vivid. I expected it be more melodic and traditional (similar to their earlier) black metal music when I heard sample in their myspace page. Perhaps it has something from their past releases musicaly.

I'm liking the new Desiderii Marginis album 'Seven Sorrows' a lot! Not scary or sinister as such, more dreamy. It's a great oeuvre.

Indeed it is very light and beautiful. It somehow tries to direct listener to positive thinking and outlook. Well, I like it. I wouldn't mind to see this project live once again...
