Yay! Yay for the Axis & yay for the joy of despair, truly joy eternal in Perdition. [Candlemass' A Sorcerer's Pledge came on just then & for some odd reason thinking of the Axis & hearing that intro caused my neck to lock facing backward... odd thing sinews & nerves are. Fortunately I managed to right said orientational error. I need some Axial therapy I think.] Roll on February, I shall spend it alone with a new Axis album. Pardon me, The new Axis album, in a darkened room trying to lick my own behind just to prove to myself that I can, and thus prove that it's meaningless to do such to others.

These are good news. I hope I can say "damn it, you did that again" but before I do perhaps I should hear that twin-filth of yours even though I suspect to drop sit speechless on any surface under me while hearing your new work

You mentioned two disks just then, is this going to be a double album, or am I missing something?

The next release will be a two cd monster, yes. The third and final instalment in this story arc will be released separately, later on.

today finished mixing one full track from the second disc, its a long one 10 mins+ and got halfway through another. Heres a little teaser for you, the guitar tone this time round is pretty crushing, think some thing like 'Demanufacture' by Fear Factory or 'Burn my eyes' by Machine Head, in terms of sound. The riffs are as contorted and dissonant as ever its just now your can hear whats going in whilst have your face melted. The drums are another departure, firstly Dans playing and secondly actual sound, its very live sounding and warm, there is also an almost '70's classic rock feel to them. Its adding a strange new dimension and life to the music, people are going to be surprised. this was Brooke writing in myklons account cos im too lazy to log out then back in. laters

It'll be good to hear all the meandering riffs in their full glory.

Wow, you (Brooke?) really look peculiar in that picture. Was it total lack of sleep? If passing you on the street, I would most likely avoid eye contact, and at the most extreme, completely avoid your presence by travelling to the other side of the street. Maybe this currently unheard bleak brew of sound you've been working on has physically warped you. Now that would be the devil wouldn't it? Not even Blut Aus Nord could touch that, although they still remain faceless with each successive album they release.
Anyhow, good to finally read some news concerning the productions of this corruptive work. It is called "grief", or this is the general feeling you have when playing it back for yourselves? Hoping that i'm off the mark in thinking this, but the description makes me think of something like a druggy, miserable, slow decayed hallucinatory stagger into the halls of orthodox doom with great fist helpings of bleak, wronged ambience. Although that might sound pleasing, I'm hoping for surprises even my imagination cannot fathom. Anyway, I shall be on the lookout this coming February, as well with Code666, who I read will be releasing this, yes?
Alright gentlemen, accept my appologies if I came aboard with any rudeness today, as well as the after thought that many freakishly altered humanoids are among the most unique creatures on the planet, perhaps even in an evolutionary sense. An evolution where we succumb to lower levels of the food chain perhaps. One can only hope for such excitement.
Carry on.

(edit: hmm, that could probably be construed as rudeness, but in the heat of the moment...)
