Yeah. It's been a tough month but I haven't troubled the optional overdraft facility for yonks so I've gone down that route. A slippery slope but ultimately worth it  |

Turns out I received my copy after all, I gave it a thorough listen through my cd player since the cd drive on my laptop is busted for some reason. I thought it was fantastic, and I definitely agree with Darkcrawl on his points. A fine way to end the albums. Fits fantastically listening to it all back to back, from Grief Of The Unclean Pt.1 to Awakenings. I just wish my CD drive weren't busted so I could put it on my mp3 player :/. Oh well.

The postman shoved a rather smelly package through my letterbox this morning, but instead of his usual "present" of dried dog turds I found Tenements. Wonderful. I was going to wait until tonight to give it a few dark room listens but it was just taunting me on the desk. Finished my first listen a few minutes ago, and I honestly don't think I can add anything to what Dalihrob and Darkcrawl have said. The last couple of tracks in particular have left me rather speechless and I admit I was surprised at how riffy the first "half" was, in the most unpleasant way of course. Looking forward to giving it a headphone autopsy tonight. Artwork looks great, haven't read through the liner notes/lyrics yet but they seem to be a bit hard to make out. Might just be me needing new glasses though. I think congratulations (and commiserations) are in order for all involved. Can't wait to read all the off the mark reviews Edit: Looking through the booklet it seems that the lyrics for Unbound and Sigils and Portents were switched. |

The Axis wants you to buy a magnifying glass....exclusively, heheh. I got a bit of eye strain  |
