yeah, what the title says basically. i was fortunate enough to obtain a copy of this through a trade recently and it defenitly deserves to exist as more than 20 cdrs. the Taop side has a different production quality which gives it a different atmosphere than the first album. the pulsefear side is also great but im not too worried about that seeing as a full-length album is on the way featuring those tracks.
re-issue in sexier packaging please. ;D

Hiya whome did you trade the demo off? just out of curiosity. chances of the demo being reissues are slim to none, its only 3 tracks so in release terms its on the same footing a single and they are not financially viable to warrant a release, and to be honest, we would feel more than a little gay about tacking it on the end of an album as either bonus tracks or a seperate cd.

he's located in london. his name was johnathon if i remember rightly.
the Taop tracks alone come to around 19 minutes and double that if you include the pulsefear tracks. 19 minutes is still a respectable release length for an EP and its defenitly something worthy of more exposure than 20 copies. before i found this copy i had regularly searched for the demo on DC++ and not had any luck so its a shame that this release is near non-existent.
anyway, fair enough. its your music so do as you see fit, but even though 2 of the 3 tracks are on the first album, they have a different atmosphere to them and there is one exclusive track and considering the fact that every worthless generic album that receives the slightest bit of attention gets re-issued, its a shame to see something this good disappear.

My main problem with the demo is the ridiculously lengthy SH sample on "A Figure in the Mist". "Gauze" on the myspace page is the updated, full-length version of that track and frankly I'd prefer the earlier version airbrushed out of existence...
As for the TAOP side, while I'm not completely opposed to a proper release for it one day, the circumstances'd have to be something pretty damn special.

Looks like some of patients happens to be very lucky retrieving old and really valuable but already out of use preparation. Pity there is no way to get it for others. Lucky you

Isn't this what need? That demo could be considered as important historical document of the band and no wonder why some of us are interested in this release.
