Having prowled in the musty and abandoned basements beneath this filthy hospital for so long, feeding on the occasional orderly that gets...eheh...lost down there, I seem to have finally been caught and dragged upstairs for a more formal admittance. My regimen of treatments here does not yet include the latest "Tenements" method, but I am hopeful/fearful that it will soon.
Which is to say, hi, I'm new here.

Understood, I shall try to restrain myself in the future. If I scrape around in the basement for a bit I should be able to scrounge up enough leftovers to stitch one or two back together, if you don't mind the odd missing digit.

I wouldn't stay in the basement for too long. It's the horrendous chattering noises....don't threaten our be(un)loved Moderator with missing digits, he wouldn't be able to perform eyeball touching (exclusively)....something not even worth contemplating.

Oh, I didn't mean missing digits on the Moderator's part...good heavens, no, I unjoy the eyeball touching as much as the next guy. I mean there may be some missing on the reassembled orderlies...I am well acquainted with the chattering noises and have taken to using the severed orderly digits as earplugs because I can't be bothered to check out of the hospital for long enough to visit the corner store, you know.

Please bear in mind during your visit that self-cannibalisation is not a sustainable long-term strategy, merely an entertaining hobby. You'd be amazed how often we have to point it out - after all, there's plenty of edible things around as long as you use a bit of imagination and ingenuity.
Also, please do not feed the wandering ham.
