This is my dark ambient project, for haters of such sonic atrocities such as The Axis, Lustmord, Nordvargr, Akira Yamaoka, Beyond The Asylum, Brighter Death Now and others. I just finished the 2nd demo yesterday, the first release I've done for this project in nearly 4 years. I am almost done recording the 3rd demo which will be slightly more violent, as a contrast to the minimalist aspects of the II demo. I am hoping to release it sometime this month or March. Though this month seems more likely.
The artwork for II was done by none other than Brooke.
Let me know what you think, and if you hate it, or it doesn't stand up to your expectations, feel free to let me know in an exceedingly long pretentious rant in public hate mail format.

I finally had an attentive listening to this stuff. The sense of void and urban negligence is rather well captured. Cold, distant and static drone. Quite subtle but ominous most of the time. However, due to the lack of texture and more accentuated elements, it remains as a background ambience and does not offer very much captivating and immersing listening session. The only thing I would advice to do is to merge tracks in the final mix next time. It would give more flow and add wholeness, because now it looks as if each album is just a sort of compilation of individual and disjointed tracks. But I don't know, maybe Trauma was intending to do it the way he did...

Actually, it really was the result of basic experimenting and amateurism as a result of not having the resources at my disposal that I would have liked. Appreciate the input greatly, but luckily for you the project died a death and was left to rot in the hospital basement back in 2011. GOODY!!!

Wow, this is like a first post in REALLY long time. Since the treatment with this experimental, horrible illucinations inducing substance (you know which one) was discontinued, everyone seem to be relieved and fled other, more comforting places. Now, these corridors stand as a living memory of things that were, perpetuating the void.
On the topic, is there any new project of yours currently?

Sorry for taking so long to get back on this. Unfortunately yes (my apologies). I'm picking up the torch and working on a double concept record (funded by a few tape releases) of sickly industrial dub- accompanied by a few paintings (an entire book of artwork if I can manage it), short stories...etc. Aesthetically I'm largely picking up where The Axis left off and creating another world of filth and sludge for you to find yourself revolted by. Inspired by the usual suspects- Silent Hill, Lovecraft, H.R. Giger, Ramsey Campbell, Session 9, Bladerunner...etc, but throwing in a few influences from Martyrs, Fritz Leiber and the like. As far as sound goes, expect some influence from The Axis (obviously), JK Flesh, Atrium Carceri, Gruntsplatter, Revenge (more so in the vocals than anything), and even a bit of Electric Doom Synthesis era Beherit. For a preview of the general (an)aesthetic and story line I have a bandcamp page set up. Mike actually helped a lot in fleshing out some of my initial ideas. entheogen016.bandcamp.com/I also have a dark ambient track I messed around with this past winter up here. soundcloud.com/entheogen01Understand that I'm doing everything from scratch, every synth, field recording, drum sound, drum beat...etc. That and the combination of my work and hospital volunteer duties has slowed the assembly and composition down a bit (and my neighbors having the right idea by reporting my vocal recording sessions for noise violations). But I hope to have something up soon enough that's actually representative. I actually have a pretty workable recording set up these days that fulfills most (if not all) my needs, even if it isn't particularly fancy.
