Salutations!
Well it seems that the human race has survived another month and the signs and portents deem that it's time for another electronic news missive from Hesper Payne!
It seems that owing to electro mechanical gremlins last months attached pamphlet was not delivered so here are the pertinent facts of that communiqué; Hesper Payne played live for the first time in three years on October 2nd 2010 at the infamous Satan’s Hollow, Manchester as part of an evening of music sponsored by the Terrorizer publication. Other bands appearing were Centurions Ghost, Bison Hammer and Burial. A poster for the event can be found at www.hesperpayne.com
The evening went swimmingly and a grand time was had by all. A sincere thank you to Acolyte promotions for being a sterling chap and the folks at the Terrorizer publication for sponsoring the event. An extremely large huzzah! For the the unnamed fellow that provided the last minute keyboard replacement and politely declined recompense. An especial well done and thanks to Alexandra on keyboards for performing her first ever Heavy Metal show and the irredeemable John Sands (Guitar) and Ant Smith (Drums) of death metal reprobates Today The Sun Dies for live line up assistance.
For those interested parties the set was as follows:
Titans Of The Northsea (part 1)
Dreamer In The Deep
Empty Emperor
The Derelict Alert
Horcums Slumber
Expect more live manifestation in the coming months.
In phonographic news there is a limited digipak pressing of Unclean Rituals, initially available at the above mentioned show. These are now available to purchase online from www.hesperpayne.com and www.worksofein.com and includes a bonus track and a set of four splendid 25 mm pin badges. Pricing online will be six foolish English Earth pounds (£6) including packaging and carriage to where ever you dwell. The badges can also be purchased separately for the meagre sum of £1.00 (for the set) including postage to anywhere on this accursed world to which post can be delivered. There should also be a number of shirt designs available towards the end of the year.
Now one last snippet of information before we must be away, it appears our cargo was not as dead as we thought and has already begun Dreaming The Doom Of Man. Expect it to awake around the death of the year!
Remember. Stay clear of the thickets and hollows!
Until next time!
Yours Sincerely
The Crew of The Hesper Payne
