Awesome! The Halo of the Sun work is some of the better stuff I've come across. Keep it up.

Hearing now Beneath the Red Brick Cascade in high resolution i notice significant production difference (particularly drum sound). As i understand this track was recorded earlier then Rust Goes On Forever EP (i strongly suspect this title was Brooke's idea as i remember untitled Mine[thorn] song which had this same line) but sound doesn't seem SO eroded even though being still very raw nevertheless. And another curious thing regarding KOE and quite confusing one i'd say. Just look at Metal Archives page. How come that Ein is identified as Brooke? Is it true?

LOL metal archives and their inacuracies, apparently Hesper Payne is industrial too.
Its so long ago i remember very little about the recording to be honest though i think initially there was a dark fantasy theme to the music (Ein was reading wheel of time by robert jordan) not sure how the post apocalyptic paradigm shift came about though. Red Brick was the first thing we did with them they didnt like it at the time as they prefered the slower creeping songs that appeared on the cd, also Ein threw up after the final scream at the end of the song. a lot of the sound was happy accident, we where new with recording and they didnt have a clue so we did the best we could with what we had and i think it turned out kinda cool. KOE are working on some thing new ATM and its been fun resurecting old hodge podge techniques and treating them with the 6 years of recording know how we have since accumulated.

Thank you very much for sharing this. I had searched for it for quite some time but was unable to find it. Very good to hear that more new material for KOE is being worked on as well.
After listening, I feel a bit of an early Emperor influence in some of the riffs, as well as overall structuring.
