www.myspace.com/wodensthroneEpic heathen black metal from Sunderland/Newcastle. The new album, "Loss", is awesome. They also happen to have a stunningly attractive and talented new keyboard player...

I bet it's Cheryl Cole, she lives up there!
I'll check them out in a wee bit...
Edit: I like it a lot! Reminds me of 'Eld' era Enslaved at times and maybe a slightly more powerful 'Fen' on occasions.

Discovered them two years ago or so on split with Niroth. Then split with Folkvang was also decent. And couple of new tracks I heard shows that band progressed a lot since. Great spirit within music. Should be cool band live I suppose.

The new album "Curse" is out today! Recent reports suggest the keyboard player remains incredibly attractive.

And so that probably explains why new album is so attractive as well:D "Curse" is nothing short of awesome. It is even more melodic than "Loss", but far from being sweet. I'm trying to remember when was the last time I was captured by this sort of blackish metal (I'm not sure if black metal is an accurate description for Wodensthrone by default). Also I'm pretty convinced that some riffs on this albums is your wor,k Mike. Am I right?
