I particularly fear the Lighthouse Part 1 track. It made me want to scratch my eye down my cheek. However, should I have done this, my employment will have been terminated, so I'll have to leave it for a worthwhile time like when the album is released.

Finally this long dusted rusty chapter is revived. It really has noticible touch of Maeror Tri especially "Lighthouse part I" which is very intense drone. Both track are very good is all I can say for now.

I'm actually quite interested in as to why this project was brought back up to the surface. New ideas re-circulating in the virus-ridden veins? The tracks were certainly interesting; i'll have to listen yet again for a more full opinion however, so far, this is quite good Dark/Black Ambience (if you wish it not to be "classified" as such, tell me) in a very frightening/rustic vein. Nonetheless, I love it.
Oh, also, I certainly didn't have any plans/mean to just be one of the first to click on the "Add Me" link; was kindly surprised that I was, in fact.

When I visited the Myspace site, I was quite amused that Pulsefear had no friends. That will change. I agree with the Maeror Tri link. Still not heard Troum so I couldn't possibly comment.

I'm actually quite interested in as to why this project was brought back up to the surface. New ideas re-circulating in the virus-ridden veins? We thought the old master tapes from the 2001 session had been lost during a rather haphazard house-move after the recording of "Physical...", but they turned up, like some best-forgotten arcane relic at the bottom of a box. We listened back through and decided the raw material was still worth releasing, but that we'd need to tidy things up a little, add some extra texture here and there, basically preserved as much of the original recordings as possible but gave them the extra spice we wanted at the time but didn't have the means to achieve originally. Hopefully, if we do more material in future, it won't take five years to finish...

All the touch-ups are complete, the album comes to a disconcerting 53 minutes of oppressive ambience. I'm now working on art; this will have a new twist compared to previous visual ventures into the world of the Axis. Ho hum time to start eyeballing labels and see who returns the stare...
The title and cover will be revealed just as soon as we stop bickering about them.

Labels...Will you look at industrial/ambient labels exceptionally or it might be those releasing metal music as well? It might be not humble from my side but concerning industrial ones I can suggest just to try my native label Autarkeia. Here is the link for further information: www.autarkeia.org/By the way it also organizes festivals like Nordic Audio Modern who consist of many well know audio artist from all over the world and some performances happens to be very exclusive. This year (it is also already second this year) it will contain the last Megaptera performance ever, Troum, Gustaf Hildebrand, Desiderii Marginis, Des Esseintes, Karjalan Sissit, The Protagonist, Visions, Aeoga, Grunt, Pain Nail. Sorry for this offtopic but I couldn't not to announce it. Would anyone like to attend there?

I think I found quite strong reference to these tracks. Megaptera's "Songs from the Massive Darkness" has very similar vibe and flow as well.

What is the current state of Pulsefear by the way? It's been a year since the album. Anything new going, slowly?

Nothing right at this moment, we're too busy. However, I hope that Pulsefear is far from over.

Yeah I hope too because I promised to friend of mine that you'll have to do a split release with his project

...and I promised myself more nightmarish audio decimation of my mental faculties.
By the way Mike. I listened to the Böhren & die Club of Gore track on your Myspace and got the album as a result. I really quite like it, it's more relaxing than my usual ear-feasts but I guess everyone needs that once in a while.
