I guess 'Home Therapy' is the best place for this, I drive past an abandonned building (well, it's actually a mansion with the roof missing) on my way to work with a fence and warning signs around it. My father and grandmother, having lived here all their lives, told me it was abandonned 6-8 years ago and since then has had a fire which took the roof off. It's basically an old victorian (?) mansion. What I want to know is.....do I go and hop the fence (with barbed wire) and have a look around, take some pics, etc. and maybe listen to some Axis... or do I carry on being a wuss, largely due to the fact the place is rotting and probably unsafe, plus I'd possibly have to vault barbed wire?
Answers on a postcard, please.....

Jump... shoot.. listen... absorb.
Through said time shalt your mind crawl with the denizens of the past that once were there.

Well I don't really know but I wouldn't go climbing over crumbling floors with gaping holes if that is what you mean. I'll get a few of the outside, definately. Apparently, someone put in planning permission recently, I don't know what they can do as it WAS a Grade 2 listed building. Oh well, I'll get the pics soonish. If there even so much as shows a hint of barb wire fence...I'll get outside pics and then run away screaming like a girl....just for effect.
News Flash: According to my esteemed father, an invasion by Urban Explorers has already taken place and pictures are on the net. I'll get him to find me the link.
