Greetings all..... although definately not of the decrepit, rustic world of The Axis, we in Arc Fatalis do hope to be a guide to a personal, customized, self-extinction. A little dash of melody (no keyboards, I assure you... although in coming times there will be some relishing in the blackest of ambient) a heavy dose of mayhem... and a little whisp of drone with the never-ending voice of humanity's self-decimation rounding it all out. Any further information can be obtained by scrying... erm, contacting me through the following gates: dragonfire60123@gmail.com AIM: Toras132 MSN: dragonfire60123@hotmail.com Any pertaining articles of news may easily be obtained at either of these locations: www.arcfatalis.comwww.myspace.com/insubordination_of_mind (This is my personal area.... yet, please feel free to refer to it as a sample-free music page.) We still have about 2 or so copies to give out of our first release (a CDr demo, limited to #30 hand #'d copies.) It is to be sent out by the end of this week, at the latest, so any interested, please contact me. I am also willing to send out any samples if anyone should require them.... As Arc Fatalis we are always evolving, ever-changing, do not forget that...

Make sure to put up some MP3 samples sometime soon so we can hear! I've just had confirmation, one should be up on the main website within 2 days. (Although, it is one not so indicative of our sound... but we may end up changing it...) anyways, expect one up extremely soon!

Got your demo in the post this morning, and very impressed with it. Cool doomy/black metal stuff. Particularly like A Silenced Time. Only slight crititism that I have is that I think the guitars need a little more bass and a little less top-end, but apart from that, a great demo; so much so, I've added it to my playlist on my band's site.

Thanks for the comments! The main issue that we as a band had was with the production, with which only in hindsight did we see it's follys... the only hard part is trying to find another producer for such music in Tennessee.. As well... to any of those that were expecting a sample or such thing, I do apologize for the immense delay... it shall be up very soon.

Find me a demo that doesn't have production problems. It's part of their charms. And hindsight is such a wonderful tool, if only we had it available before...

That was pretty cool but I think that the production realy stole a lot of the atmoshpere and power from the material. How where the guitars recorded Direct into the desk/recorder? If this is the case I would use some kind of Amp emulator and then layer the rythm guitars and put 2 on each side of the stereo field (yep that means recording the guitar parts 4 times for each song !) this will give you a thick powerfull ans textured sound of course it all depends on getting a guitar tone that you realy like at the start. Also as far as drums go if your using a drum machine I look into such things has Battery by Native Instruments and team it up with a good set of kit samples like DFH by Toontrack that way you can get a 'real' drum sound with out having to faff around with mic'ing up a full kit. other wise I would say its a promising start keep it up!

Ah, thanks for the comments & advice! I really don't know what Skon used to record the tracks with, but we're constantly working on our production issues (which seem to be the absolute biggest problem at the moment) and I feel that they shall become much less of a pain pretty soon (so I hope, that is.) I sent off all of this to him, and he stated that he's still working out the kinks with the drum machine, and that we'll probably change over to a new one if we get a larger budget to work with. Now, I will say, that all of the tracks on the demo have a different production value, and that was the oldest track on such, and they only get better as they go along.. I believe I still have a copy or so left, I could send one off if you're interested? Or, hell, I could just post it up for download somewhere.. Ah, and we do have some new news if anyone is interested: We're currently looking to do a split with any interested band (preferably a 7", as we plan to do some high-calibur packaging "stunts" if you will.) However, this will be very budget intensive and we perfer bands of near the same style (some form of Black Metal/Ambient/Etc.), so please be wary of that if you (interested bands that is) decide to join in. Sorry to use this as sort of a personal advertising thing.. i'd happily delete this post if you all wish!

Well, after a long and drawn out period of decrepit nothingness; Arc Fatalis has been born anew. With the completion of a new song, entitled "Decay", and a new website re-design; I feel that I can finally say with full confidence that Arc Fatalis has reached a new period of creation, and has finally initiated its being in full originality. Here, I have uploaded the demo in its entirety for your listening (dis)pleasure (Note: This has been updated and should be valid for 7 days after this edit, which was made on 7/18/06: www.yousendit.com/transfer.php?action=download&ufid=F83DFB18011D25F0As well, we have updated our website address (as we have bought a domain name for ourselves): www.arcfatalis.comWe have offically run out of copies of the demo (and have been for a very long time now), and are now creating the second new song to be featured on the "Silenced Through The Fall" re-issue on Gravebound Records (the first of which being "Decay"). For now, we are also putting the 7" split on hold, as we have neither the funds, nor have we found any interested parties, however, we are still interested in doing such, so, if you are in/know of any bands that might be interested, please, let them know. So long for now... let the Decay take thee into the Abyss.

In my infinite idiocy of the Short Term Memory variety, I had forgotten one extremely important development. The offical cover artwork for the Re-Issue of Silenced Through The Fall has been unveild; and here it is:

Ooo, I like that. Looking forward to this re-issue, still often go back to the original every so often, much unenjoyment on that particular piece of plastic.
