Right, I bought the EP and the new album from ya'll, and I cant say that I can find a flaw in them or not. Perfect, audio terror in it's purest form..
However, I have a question.
The Kult Of Eihort, I grabbed their song up for grabs on Soundclick and Im hooked. Is there alittle more info about them, or a place you could direct me to get something, maybe a demo, by them?
Send it to Prugor@Gmail.com if you could. Im really interested...

Man, I just wanna get ahold of the Demo or something.
That sound clip was good. As an avid fan of Black Metal and anything remotely attached to it, and all knower that Black Metal in the last few years has gone downhill, I feel that by hearing that clip alone, the band's demo is probably an audiogasm waiting to happen.

Just listened to this myself, sounds great... further information would be appreciated. Hope this doesn't turn into a "Sortsind problem" (seraching and searching for information with no luck)

The Urban Desolation collective = a loose group of people who draw inspiriation for music and other art from the urban environment particulaly the run down post industrial sprawl of places like Teeside where the Axis originated.
The Kult of Eihort = A black doom (thats just one interpretation of their music) band that share similar ideologies and appreciation of certain aesthetics with the Axis who helped them to record a 3 track Ep called 'The Rust goes on Forever' in the summer of 2003 Ein from the KoE also played one of his distinct solo's on the 'physical...' EP. Another KoE session was recorded in late 2004, again another 3 tracks going under the collective title of 'Halo of the sun'. There was a very limited pressing of the first EP all of which have since been given away, there are currently no plans to release the second EP. At the moment no one has heard from any KoE members since the second sessions so future plans if any are not known at this time.

The grouping also extends to people that we are affiliated with who don't necessarily adhere to these urban aesthetics, but are from the same urban area as us, and are part of the collective at their own discretion. An example would be the black metal band Undying, which uses the traditional BM imagery. It also extends to any artist which we have collaborated with or band we are involved in personally, such as Phaleg, which features members from England, Scotland and Greece.

i was actually looking for more stuff by this band myself after hearing the song on soundclick. i didn't know that they were involved with the axis of perdition in any way (but i suppose there is a clue in the similar artwork). if you do get in touch with the band then can you ask them to also contact me about purchasing a demo if they have any left?

I've asked Brooke (axis vocalist) about these today as ive not heard the 3 tracks from the second sessions he recorded and helped to mix both sessions. Unfortunatly he did not have any demos and was certain that the 10 or so originaly pressed of the first cd have long gone. He's not heard from any of the Kult since the second session last november i think it was, he also told me that the way these sessions come about is that Ein the main member of the Kult conntacts him when he feels inspiration and then Brooke arranges for a session to take place within a day or so, these sessions never usualy last longer than 3 days for all recording and mixing and then Ein goes off to where ever and he doesnt here from him again untill he wants to record more.

Those drums...(KoE I mean). The sounds is the same as in Axis "Physical..." I liked that specific sound. As for that track. More straight and simple in structure than Axis but nevertheless effective. Only good impression.

yeah basicaly as it was recorded on the Axis set up at that time, and that was the drum sound they where using for most stuff, its a Soundfont that works with creative labs soundblaster sound cards if any one is into home recording I could probly get the guys to let me put it online if any one is interested. Also got to hear that other KoE recording from a year ago its kust as bleak as the first, Brooke was telling me the whole whole thing was recorded and mixed in 5 hours. He also played me some stuff from a psychadelic/funeral doom band he been working with called Hesper Payne very different from Axis, Mine[thorn] and KoE but still worth checking out. Aparently hes been trying to get KoE to put a website up or at least a my space page but they dont seem too interested. Hesper Payne will probobly have one or the other if not both up soon enough.

The "previous Moderator mantioned Soundfonts some time ago. And also he mentioned he could upload them. Well as he departed is there still any possibility to get it? I checked out one yesterday. It seemed to be buggy with somekind error.

I wouldnt bother with soundfont drums mate, they sound very dated now even just two years on, all current stuff uses Toontrack EZdrummer and DFHsuperior.
