So says Profound Lore:
The alter-ego of UK’s infamous The Axis Of Perdition, namely PULSEFEAR, have finally completed the process of what will be known as their official debut album, namely the nightmare known as “Perichoresis”…
As you can see, said image pictured above will serve as the cover to what will undoubtedly be one of the most frightening and subliminal ambient soundscape releases of the year. Like a more minimalistic, creeping and crawling audial interpretation of The Axis Of Perdition, Pulsefear deliver a fine homage to the glory days of the Cold Meat Industry and industrial/ambient scenes where manipulated frequencies create the sounds that will shape and reveal the horror that is “Perichoresis”.
Formed in 2001, just before The Axis Of Perdition revealed itself to the world, the decaying, decrepit, eerie, and surreal sounds that define the very essence of “Perichoresis”, were culled from a collection of experiments that began in 2001 and have completed the circle in 2006.
The picture that “Perichoresis” evokes is a disturbing and unsettling scenario nonetheless. Like a decayed abandoned town, ensorcelled in utter darkness and fog, where only innocent memories once roamed and now, only beneath the surface, lies a dwelling evil that’s urging to become unleashed. And it is through the derelict, inexplicably functioning lighthouse in the abandoned seaport, as each slow revolution of the beam reveals the town to be a little more dilapidated and horrific. Take heed, the more you listen to “Perichoresis”, the terror that lies within becomes revealed more and more… through the sounds from the other side of silence…
The tracklisting to “Perichoresis” goes as follows:
1. Gauze
2. Lighthouse (i)
3. Docks
4. Lighthouse (ii)
5. Under
Expect “Perichoresis” to be revealed in its full unbridled nightmare sometime late May/early June. To be presented in a pockesleeve digipack and priced reasonably…
