I'm loving the electronica scene and have been a fan for many moons. Hexstatic, Four Tet, Kid 606, Venetian Snares, Scot Project, you name it. Shame I can't afford the equipment myself.
The priority is still that elusive new guitar and amp.

Yes pay for things as I most certainly do not condone illegal downloading to get hold of the various cool but expensive software that is used in a lot of this music.
Actualy the software/hardware is the easy part, its taken us years to get to the level we have with recording and such, mind you, we are self taught if you bought some books and magazines (which are plentifull) then you should be upto speed in no time as long as you put in the hours.

Thanks for the advice....if you have anymore please do keep it coming. Think I shall get my little chilled out summery Brant Bjork-esque project out of the way first then have a look into all this.
